Secluded Paradise: The Flying Fishbone in Aruba
Friends…Now you know we will never steer you wrong, and Aruba has a hidden gem we HAVE to tell you about. We had the pleasure of dining at the Flying Fishbone restaurant in Savaneta, and we can't stop raving about it!
The location was secluded and tranquil, and the tables were set up in the water which was a unique experience. We decided to opt for the water tables so we could dine with our feet in the sand and the waves lapping at our toes. It was wild to say the least but the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, ensuring our comfort throughout our dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. We both decided to go with the seafood options, as the restaurant is known for their freshly caught seafood dishes. I went with the seafood pasta choice, and Kirk decided to try the fish of the day catch with veggies. Let me tell you, the seafood did not disappoint! The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was stunning.
My dish was a medley of shrimp, mussels, and calamari cooked to perfection and served with pasta infused with coconut milk, herbs, and spices. The dish was well-balanced with a hint of spice, and the seafood was cooked to perfection.
Kirk’s dish was the fish of the day, which was mahi-mahi, and it was served with a side of perfectly roasted vegetables. The fish was incredibly fresh and flaky, and the veggies were cooked perfectly, making it a well-rounded meal.
Overall, the Flying Fishbone restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The secluded location, unique dining experience, and amazing food make it a top-notch destination. If you're in Aruba, we highly recommend giving it a try, and don't forget to book a table in the water for the ultimate experience.
